A renowned Tier 2 civil contractor based in Sydney is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join their highly-skilled team of professionals and work on one of Australia’s biggest public transport project. They specialise in challenging civil infrastructure projects and are a privately owned business who are committed to delivering projects to a high standard with a commitment to staff development and workplace safety.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager on the delivery of works and ensure their delivery meets the time, quality, budgetary as well as health and safety targets. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractor activity whilst also preparing status reports, assisting with project programming, and processing claims and variations. You will also be capable of liaising with clients, colleagues, and external consultants to ensure correct scope of works is being carried out.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification and in excess of 5 years experience as a Project Engineer and have demonstrated a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects. Prior rail project experience will be highly regarded although not essential.
